All is fallen to rot and ruin. The King’s scions have fled the frantic peasant uprisings. The nobility, murdered in their homes. The fields are barren, and the granaries riddled with blight.

Still, foul things fester in the Western Kingdoms...

Lady Regina Hope was once renowned for her resplendent gardens. Since the uprising, the house and environs have lain abandoned.

Now more barrow den than open garden, the overgrown hedges and borders are pervaded with steely black thorns. The greenhouse now yields only sticky lichens and swollen, putrefied fruits.

And here she has stayed. In the quiet gloaming, she nurtures her children, her hopes for the future, her legacy. Their withered forms droop from branches or huddle under mounds of soil, preparing to overcome the darkness that shall swallow the darkness. Her fecund children will outlive her. Outlive us all.

‘A unique take on a dungeon - outdoors but with all the claustrophobia and spookiness of a tomb’

'The art is great and evocative’

I am new to TTRPG. It seems this information is not included on a lot of game descriptions on itch.io. Maybe it’s obvious to most people, but not to me!

  • How many players does this game support? (please clarify if it includes or excludes the GM)
  • What is the average play time?
  • Is there a solo mode or not?

As far as I can see this is a garden crawl for Mörk Borg. This means you would need the Mörk Borg System to run it, which uses a GM as far as I know. I recommend checking out Mörk Borg to see if this fits you and your idea of playing.

Fertile topsoil for an engaging night of Mörk Borg. The vines quicken just enough to cover the trellis, but not enough for the groundskeeper to get hung up on. Those vines (and many other things) will definitely hang up your scvm though, so watch out.

Great stuff , great crawl , nice monsties , cool loots and amazing classes :) thank you make more someday please , you are good at this.

Such a wonderful and horrible garden crawl full of fecund flavour. Had fun getting it started with one group today and I'm already planning to run it with another group! Just a phenomenally well put together Mork Borg adventure that looks amazing, is absolutely crammed with encounters and all sorts of weird and wonderful suggestions, and comes with a simplified text. AMAZING STUFF!!!
